The goal of the Community Service Program (KKN) by students of Universitas Mitra Bangsa (UMIBA) and the residents of Jatikarya Village is to improve the quality of the environment, health, and community welfare. These activities are designed collaboratively and involve waste management training, transforming waste into creative works such as eco-bricks, and preventing diseases like dengue fever and stunting. The results show that the community is more aware of the importance of a clean and healthy lifestyle. People also learn how to manage household waste into creative items. The community's knowledge has increased with the KKN program, particularly in transforming waste into eco-bricks that can be made into various products. Furthermore, this program also produces sustainable solutions by forming independent working groups and collaborating with the government and related institutions. The community-based participatory approach used has yielded beneficial results in the long term. Moreover, this approach has become a service model that can be applied in other regions.
