SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PEMILIHAN GURU TERBAIK METODE SAW PADA SMP CENDERAWASIH 1

Selecting the best teacher is a strategic step toward improving the quality of education within the school. However, the assessment process at SMP Cendrawasih 1 Jakarta is currently conducted manually, leading to various issues such as time inefficiency, potential data entry errors, and subjective evaluation. This study aims to develop a decision support system based on the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to streamline and accelerate the process of selecting the best teacher objectively and accurately. The system was designed using the Java programming language and a MySQL database, and it was implemented as a desktop application capable of offline operation. Testing results demonstrate that the system successfully generates valid and consistent teacher rankings using the SAW method by selecting teachers based on predetermined criteria and weights, thereby facilitating objective and accurate decision-making
