Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Assessment Center terhadap peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia di Kementerian Pertahanan Republik Indonesia. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya sistem penilaian yang objektif, terstruktur, dan berbasis kompetensi dalam mengembangkan pegawai yang profesional dan berkinerja tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada pegawai di lingkungan Kementerian Pertahanan Republik Indonesia yang telah mengikuti proses Assessment Center. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 31.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Assessment Center berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas sumber daya manusia. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi uji t yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 serta nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) yang menunjukkan besarnya kontribusi Assessment Center terhadap peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Dengan demikian, penerapan Assessment Center dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi, kinerja, dan profesionalisme pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disarankan agar Kementerian Pertahanan Republik Indonesia terus mengembangkan dan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan Assessment Center sebagai alat evaluasi dan pengembangan pegawai secara berkelanjutan.
