ANALISIS PENGEMBANGAN KOMPETENSI KARYAWAN BERBASIS AI UNTUK PENINGKATAN KINERJA KARYAWAN PT KAI DAOP 4 SEMARANG

In this digital era, technological developments are increasingly demanding employees to be able to adapt. With that, the importance of employee competency based on AI (Artificial Intelligence) in improving quality and competent performance. This study aims to determine and analyze the development of employee competency based on AI (Artificial Intelligence) in improving employee performance at PT KAI Daop 4 Semarang. The research method uses a qualitative approach in the form of a case study from the results of semi-structured interviews with five respondents involving various units at the PT KAI Daop 4 Semarang Office with data analysis techniques in this study using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that AI (Artificial Intelligence) can help analyze the skills needed and provide recommendations for appropriate and sustainable training, so that employees can work more effectively and improve employee collaboration competency, and abilities in the digital era, with a focus on digital skills, adaptability, and soft skills such as adaptive communication to achieve optimal performance. The results of this study have implications for providing input on technological changes to the management of the PT KAI Daop 4 Semarang Office in improving employee performance.
